Editorial policy
Our aim is to make sport easier to read without overstating what an explanation can prove. We check the details, make the scope clear and correct errors when we find them.
Accuracy and clarity
Writers should check rule descriptions against relevant authoritative material and distinguish laws or regulations from common practice, tactics and interpretation. Articles should identify the sport and format they discuss when details vary. We avoid unsupported certainty and revise wording when a claim needs qualification.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader value, not to secure a commercial placement. A partner does not choose our conclusions, coverage or wording. Any material relationship that could affect how content is understood is disclosed clearly alongside the relevant material.
Corrections
Readers can report an error through the Contact page. We assess the specific claim, amend confirmed mistakes and make meaningful corrections clear in the article. A correction should improve the record, not quietly preserve a misleading impression.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid placements and other partner material are labelled so readers can distinguish them from editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when that is relevant to understanding an image, the illustration is identified accordingly.
