Write for us
We welcome pitches that make a rule, tactic, format, piece of equipment or match pattern easier to understand for a general reader.
What to pitch
Propose one focused, evergreen question with a clear reader benefit. Explain the main point you would make, the sport or format involved and what the piece would leave out. Strong pitches clarify a specific detail rather than promising a broad survey of sport.
What makes a useful contribution
Use plain language, define specialist terms and distinguish established rules from interpretations or changing practice. A good piece can stand on its own without invented anecdotes, unsupported claims or a current result to make it relevant.
Send a proposal
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a working title, a short summary and any relevant experience you want us to consider. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication.
